Part of the Royal Hawaiian series of elephant ears, Black Coral plants are bred for superior disease resistance, dramatic leaves and tidy clumping habit.
Black Coral plants are 5-16 inches tall when shipped and grow very fast in clumps up to 3-4 feet tall! They prefer partial sun, partial shade and need lots of moisture. Black coral can even grow in a shallow pond!
Elephant Ear varieties are hardy in zones 7-10 as
perennials and suitable in zones 4-6 as annuals.
