The instruction book is NOT included.. I don't know what happened to it but it is simple to operate..I got this on listia but it was bigger than I wanted for my laptop...I played a dvd movie on it and it worked great...It is heavy and in original box so shipping will be $12..That is what I paid to have it shipped to me...I take paypal OR a money order..
