The listing, (14) 1990 Major League Baseball Collect-A-Books has ended.
I took pictures of the inside pages of Ozzie Smiths' book to just give those who are not familiar a idea of what each one consists of.
Major League Baseball Collect-A-Books
Remember 1990 Collect-A-Books?
Thinking back to all the baseball card releases of 1990, some might forget about an “oddball” product that blew away every release of that year. ‘Collect-A-Books’ was exactly the standard size of a normal baseball card,
used M.L.B logos but offered so much more than your typical ’90 Upper Deck or Topps baseball card ever could.
Each one has a cover picture and inside of the cover has their full name and a logo of the team they played for. There are two pages inside each book.
The first page has personal highlights and on the other side a personal story.
The next page has career highlights and the back of that page has statistics.
The back inside cover has a picture and a supposed quote from that particular
player, and a facsimile signature.
The autographs in these books are a facsimile of their real ones.
36 books were in the original set, I am offering 14 in this abbreviated lot. I do not have a complete set.
