Here are three full and one nearly full balls of
A yarn that I had in every color and thus is the last of it.
It is 100% Bamboo and very soft. There are 81 yards per ball , not much used out of the partial ball so there is plenty here to do something pretty. This yarn is made in Italy
By Tahki-Stacy Charles which is a High End Yarn Company.
Hopefully you can see in the pictures that this is a FLAT yarn. Very comfortable to work with whether you knit or crochet .
The color is is in the beige family , but I would call it Deep Beige or Taupe.

What would you knit with this lind of yarn? I never knit with a ribbon-type yarn before but this looks too nice to pass by!

Absolutely anything u would knit with any other yarn. I have knitted scarfs and shawls with this. Very comfortable and comes out beautiful. thanks

As an avid needleworker, I've been reading more about 'specialty' yarns and vegetarians are HUGE on bamboo yarn because, unlike silk, it uses strictly the plant BUT, like silk, it has the softness and sheen of silk. I'm keeping an eye on this auction because I'd like to try it to make some really soft slippers and it can be VERY hard to find....even online.

OH! ALSO per the question above re: what to make with this, "soft jewelry" is another great consideration. I just bought some crochet patterns for necklaces and the majority call for bamboo or silk yarn "ribbon type" along with others that are combined to make a very cool "mixed media" type of long necklace that also incorporates large beads. In fact, I started a Euro bracelet and know for a fact that Euro beads would be wonderful on this yarn. You could crochet "links" or even create knots to space the beads. You've got a great color to offer as there are zillions of possible combinations to go with it.

Shawna, I have found a few skeins of Micro Bamboo Spray. I auctioned off quite a bit of this yarn. It is only 50% Bamboo and the rest is acrylic but i have never worked with a yarn this soft as those who bought it would tell you. Anyway I will put it up tomorrow so I just wanted you to know. and I am still looking through my massive stash for some more 100% for you

The yarn is a solid so I described it as being in the Beige or Taupe family. thanks, my baby is almost 10 years old. he is an awesome Maltese
