Here are two small screwdrivers - a #00 Phillips and a Tri-wing - for use on DS, DS Lite, DSi, etc. game consoles. A spare hinge is included. The picture shown is an example of the item to be sent. The ones sent will be sealed in a plastic envelope.

How would I work on a DS if it were broken? Wouldnt i have a protection plan on the DS being that they cost so much.

The DS and DS Lite do come with a warranty and you could get a protection plan at the time of purchase. If your console is still under warranty you should send it back to Nintendo for repairs. However, the warranties do not last a lifetime nor do they cover breakage caused by abuse such as dropping it. After the console is out of warranty or the damage is not covered by warranty, you can work on your console. There are directions on the web that show you how to do work on your consoles.
