The listing, OLD German "Peg Doll" Necklace-wooden has ended.

Another neat find from my late-grandmother's stash of Antique jewelry. This is A German, wooden-peg doll necklace. I know for sure it is German becuase the clasp says "Germany." There is no indication that the necklace is real silver.It was wrapped in a cloth satchel and stored at the back of the jewelry box.

It's a rather cute piece and would make a little girl quite happy.

The wooden peg doll appears to be hand painted and is apporximately 2 inches long.

The chain is 9 inches long when clasped. There is no marking to indicate "silver" or not. There is only a stamp of 'Germany' on it.

This is another interesting conversational piece rich with a unique old wold style.

Sorry I have really no Idea. It is in really really good shape, the paint is not faded and the chain shows no signs of age. It was brought to me with my grandmother's antique jewelry in one of her jewelry boxes wrapped in a little satchle. But I never saw her wear this.
