You are bidding on the three top sets listed in picture one. It takes about a year for your onions to start producing top sets that can be planted, but you can plant the bulbs and they grow quickly. I cut greens off my plants and use them in soups, salads, fried potatoes or any food that you add green onions to. They have a great flavor to them. When the onions grow the top sets the weight will bend the stalk over to the dirt causing the onion to replant itself hence "walking onion". You can use the bulb and the greens to cook with. We get snow and they come back every year!
