A friend gave this to my daughter. We checked it out and it works fine.

All games work.

Takes 4 AA batteries (NOT included) and it DOES have the battery cover.

Free shipping if bid reaches 4000 or more.

If the winning bid is not 4000 or more, shipping will be $5 paid by either Pay Pal, money order purchased from the US post office or unused US postal stamps.

Yes. My daughter has a Gameboy color ( I have it listed too) and she played these games in it. The gameboy, was given to her, but she knows she is getting a DS for Christmas, so she doesn't want either of these now.

ok does it need a charger also or does it just run on the batteries? I am not savvy when it comes to video games...

I believe when it was purchased new, it probably did have a charger because there is a slot on the one side for it, but you can use batteries with it....it takes 4 AA batteries. It also has a slot of the other side for headphones.

Yes, that's why I originally got it for my daughter. But her brother is getting her a DS for Christmas and she knows it. So she doesn't want this anymore :-)
