Here today, we have seeds to grow your own VITEX bush. It grows as a bush--but can be made into a small tree as well!! (To make a tree out of it, you simply cut off the lower branches as it grows.)
The pictures are of my Vitex in my front yard. Mine, I left as a bush. It starts blooming (here in Texas) in May and will keep blooming all the way thru August (and sometimes Sept) Photo #2 shows the purple blooms. Photo #3 is a close-up of the leaves. I recently planted these same seeds, and now have baby Vitex growing in my greenhouse. They grow quickly and are really fast growers.
It gets really hot here and I have never watered the one in my front yard, after I figured it was established after planting. These live off whatever rain we get.
