I like longer days, i'm not always on here to see whats new, it gives people a chance to find it. The more days the better for the sellers.

I know and I like to have them on longer too, but with the holidays coming up I'll be too busy to tend to any auctions for awhile so I needed to list for shorter days. After the holidays I'll list another one and it will be up longer. =)

I like longer days, too (btw 5 days is hardly 'days and days'!). More people can see it, and save up for it - and they don't miss something great if they take a few days off Listia. Kimberli, wherever there are auctions there will be snipers that come in at the last minute and bid. It's a strategy that can fail you or get you something for less than you expected. My strategy is often (not always) to just put in the most I am willing to bid and then walk away, and hope for the best.

On ebay & listia, I take advantage of the proxy bidding. I decide my top price & give a proxy bid for that amount. If someone outbids me, it doesn't matter if they do it early or late in the bidding-that just means they want it more than I do.
