Is it working or is it maybe with an overwond spring if it works does it keep time?

When you wind it, it works and keeps time, but as with old wind ups you have to keep it wound up to stay running. Haven't timed how long it runs after wound. Hope this helps. This is an older pocket watch, so probably could use good cleaning by a watch smith who knows what they are doing.
