This is a ceramic vase about 6 inches in height. it looks hand painted and is marked 15 china on the bottom...
picked it up at a yard sale.... history unknown, sorry

very heavy and beautiful....

Hi! I have some bad news, this vase is actually a greenbrier, dollar store piece. I found the same one, there's 2 others in a set with this one, and the sticker that was placed ovmn the bottom said greenbrier and after looking it up, that's the dollar store brand. I was upset too! I thought I had found an original antique, hand painted Chinese piece! Lol. It is lovely though! Just wanted to let you know!

He said it had something to do with the number of people, fish, birds, many different things like even the coloring tell a story but I am at a loss, looks like it's time to go back again, this time majoring in art....lol! YIKES!
