It is usually baked in pieces or diced and boiled. You can add chicken broth to cook it in too. I highly recommend the taste which is kind of sweet, with salt and butter. Sometimes I add garlic also. You can;t go wrong with this one. My other faves are butternut and acorn and this ranks among them.
