The listing, Original Rare Cross Stitch Christmas Design for an Ornament has ended.

I got this at a Cross Stitch seminar I attended in Williamsburg VA in 2012. This is a Rare unique Christmas Ornament by Miranda Weeks McGahey of Weeks Dye Works. Everything is included to create this wonderful ornament, and you can customize it with your name in the year. "A Different Drum" contains floss, linen, beads, needle, instructions, etc. Not a beginner's piece. Approx. 3 x.3, very delicate 32 or smaller linen. From a smoke free home.

Yes, Weeks Dye Works makes over dyed floss, and in most cases over dyed floss has some variation in color. The two colors included in this kit are concord and cayenne. While the concord does have variation, the cayenne does not, which sometimes can be the case with over dyed floss. However the color is very rich.

Is this over dyed floss? Over dyed floss normally has variation throughout the thread. It looks like the purple might be but can't tell for certain
