Pocket full of crystals thunder egg specimen!! This is a really interesting piece.. The crystals in this appear to be citrine. They have a orange shade to them at the points. But what it's interesting is that the citrine crystals are covered in a dusting of micro crystals! Almost like the pocket had gone through 2 crystallization processes and a second set of formations began to grow on top of the first formed points! I've never seen anything quite like it :) the Crystal dust is not loose. It is growing out of the stone and looks like shimmering diamond dust :) very pretty and curious piece to look at and study :) this piece weighs 85.2 grams. Measures 2.5" wide.
