The listing, Compaq Presario CQ60 Laptop has ended.

Up for auction is a used Compaq Presario CQ60 laptop. It is in overall good condition, some minor scratches on outside and a few small scratches near the mouse pad. The spacers in between the number keys are missing in two places and the screen has a tendency to flicker when it is moved. This was my boyfriend's laptop, but he decided to let me list it since he just got a new one for his birthday. The computer works great, turns on and has been cleaned and restored to factory settings. The only major issue with the computer is that the screen flickers when moved. If it is tilted, the screen does not flicker..you just have to play with it to find the correct angle. I'm sure this can be fixed if someone is computer savvy, but since we already have 3 working laptops in my house, I have no need to repair this one. I am going to include the manufacturer specifications, but if there are any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. :)

It does have built in wi-fi, which works great! I'm not sure exactly how old it is, but will ask my boyfriend when I get home tonight. I believe it is 3-4 years old, but I don't want to give you false info. :) I'll get back to you on that.

I appreciate the input. :) But...I can't lower the GIN after someone bids and since it's the holiday season and I am officially broke, if someone really really really wants free shipping then that is the way to get it. I've seen equally high GIN's on pillow pets and such and it since it is optional, I don't see the harm. :) Thanks for looking. :)

great auction. just a suggestion. wipe the laptop down with a baby wipe before you take any pictures lol. and as for the gin being too high? for a working laptop 40k gin is very fair. and free shipping? Outstanding. if i had 40k I'd be buying this. well after it was sanitized of course.

Lol! Thanks! I did wipe down the outside of the laptop, but the smudges seem to be stubborn. I'm going to try a different approach and will post a new clean pic. :) Thanks for the suggestion..I appreciate it. :)

Btw, does anyone know what I can use to safely clean the screen? I don't want to cause any damage. The black "smudges" by the mouse pad are actually spots where the paint has been wore off..the rest is just dirt that I missed. So sorry...will get rid of that and repost some pics. :)

People like that seem to make comments like that on electronics auctions quite frequently. I saw some of his comments on other auctions and all I can say is it's not nice to lie. I use Listia because it's the only way I can afford to get great stuff for my family. I used Listia to do all of my Christmas shopping and I never would have been able to afford all the items I got if I had to pay cash. It's a great site, but like anything else, people abuse it.
