RED ZINGER HIBISCUS~FAMOUS RED TEA!
Rose Sorrell may be fairly new to U.S. gardeners, but this amazing hibiscus has been well-known for millenniums throughout the ancient world.

Fast Growing ~ Mass Producing ~ Healthy Herb Tea
As a Cottage Garden ornamental, Red Zinger presents with an abundance of large yellow flowers, blushed with pink edges and a brilliant crimson throat. The deep red-crimson calyxes from which the 'red tea' is brewed, are both healthy and dynamically beautiful when peeking through their lush green leaves.
ANNUAL
FULL SUN
Harvest red calyx in late summer early fall. Sun dry and store in a dark glass tea jar.

'Two glasses' a day of this crimson red, lemony-cranberry flavored drink, is not only calming to the eye and soul, but is full of antioxidants and lowers high-blood pressure. Both facts are confirmed by modern medical experts.
HOW TO MAKE A TANTALIZING TEA:
Toss in a handful of dried calyces with 5-6 cups of water and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, cover and let steep for 3 minutes. Strain and serve hot or cold. Add lemon, mint, sugar or honey. Red Zinger is also complimentary to mix with other tea's.
