the penny looks like a silver or steel coin. you might want to try a different camera or even a pc scanner. Most of your pics make the coins look like they've been cleaned with tarnx. Me personally, if i want a coin, i don't care, but to dealers and most collectors, cleaned coins are almost worthless.

I've been collecting coins since I was a child and Very few wheat pennies would get you over face from a dealer or a collector which would make selling them worth it at all. Which is why they are on listia for new collectors. As for the scanner I actually just got a new one that I haven't taken out of the package yet lol but these pics are from my iPhone sooo they could be worse? Sorry

I understand. For the age, the penny looks good.

So This is not worth anything? I have a Father that collects coins But, He is ill with Alzheimer's & they him & my mom just lost their home along with them & us Loosing EVERYTHING We owned but, Our Lives & One Another! Thank God! Fanned & Watching....So the coin is & has No Value? Just was wondering for my Dad? Useless to a Dealer? What did u mean? I want something Valuable thats grows in Value for my Dad. He Lost his whole Stamp & Coin Collection, when their home went down to storm. :( I want to make him Smile for Christmas & in General He has been soooo depressed & hurt. Much Thanks & God Bless Happy Holiday's! Your Friend, ALWAY'S! Susan Hug's~

Well no it isn't worth a lot it's collectible and this auction is the very cheapest you could ever possibly possess this coin but to be honest it isn't worth more than maybe a dollar but to buy it anywhere else you'd probably have to pay a dollar or two here you will only use a few credits
