The picture, baseball card, collectible item, document, etc. that you laminate goes to 2.5" x 3.5". Of course you can use smaller items instead. These are very sturdy and work well since I've used more than one package alone to put the kids pics in and they don't get destroyed in my wallet! They are simple to use and could also be used for crafts, a cute scrapbook journal card, etc.
