Wait, are these triops (look like little horseshoe crabs) or the sea monkey brine shrimp, big difference.

What size tank do they need? Does it need a filter and heat? Can you buy more food when the included bag is gone? What is the life span?
My kids would love this!

These guys are a lot of fun! They are dirty little buggers so a filter is highly recommended.

I raise triops, they are definitely much more interesting than seamonkeys :)

Oh and triops can be fed nearly anything organic after the given food runs out, crushed tropical fish food is fine, or vegetable shavings, even insects. They're not picky :) fanned you <3

And they need the water to be no lower than 72 degrees (f) but no higher than 86. In the wild they are normally found in freshwater puddles and other temporary pools of water, so that's the environment you're trying to replicate. They grow pretty quick too :) definitely awesome pets. and after the first generation dies off, you can collect and dry out the eggs they laid, and hatch those!! its awesome :)
