to get a more realistic value on eBay, you need to click on "Completed listings" on the left side. Sometimes you find that no one is bidding on it. Not a good sign, in my book. But it depends on many factors, such as, how many items are shown as completed and the amount they are bidding and the amount listed for. It's still a crapshoot.
