The listing, Nintendo DS - Original, with 3 games - working with broken hinge - 3 Days! has ended.

This is an original Nintendo DS that I bought on Listia a while back. It turns out my kids want a newer one, so I'll put this back on Listia for somebody else to enjoy.

I'm also including 3 games (2 are older Game Boy Advance, and one is a DS game)
- Star Wars The Clone Wars - DS
- Harry Potter - GBA
- Sims 2 - GBA

I'll make it a 3-day auction to end Sunday, and I'll do free priority mail shipping so it arrives before Christmas.

It works fine, but it is well used and scratched up, and has a broken hinge. The system opens and closes fine, and the broken hinge isn't that bothersome.

It also sometimes has a hard time recognizing the cards, so it takes a few times to insert and re-start the system. Eventually they work. You can see pictures of each of the 3 games running.

Please be aware of the condition of this before bidding. It is well used, with a broken hinge, and sometimes difficult to start the games. But, it does work. Don't bid on this if you might be disappointed in the condition. I will not accept returns for this.

I need all the luck in the world-I'm having surgery Thursday on three kidney stones then I have to bounce right back for the holidays-no rest for the weary!! I have 5283 credits and I'm prayin I get it. no matter what some kids gonna be happy and that's all that matters-doesn't mean I'm not gonna try my hardest though. everyone has there own kid to think of. I'm definitely watching this closely. I find it's best to bid towards the end. it becomes almost insanely addictive-my Christmas was created with thousands of listia points. in fact without listia we wouldn't really have a Christmas this year-I started my shopping early November and the nintendo D's is the LAST thing-thank goodness. it's been fun and exhausting at the same time. there's been times when I've had to set my alarm at 4 in the morning to finish a bid for a hello kitty necklace for my daughter!!

I had a similar problem with my ds light with it not reading the games at first, its is just dirty connections, easy fix. Fanned and watching, nice auction.

Yup, I know from my kids too. Just a note, you can see from the pictures with the games running that the top does stay in place while open, so it's still pretty sturdy. Thanks and good luck!

fixing the hinge is very easy with a rebuild kit. You can find them online all the time. I have fixed 2 DS systems with the new shell kits
