Quantity: 10 Organic Open Air Pollinated Seeds

Mortgage Lifter is an indeterminate tomato variety, which means that the plants will grow vines and continue to grow taller as the gardening season progresses. Without pruning, the plant will continue to grow longer. To allow the plant to focus on growing higher yields of fruit, pinch the suckers on the tomato vine, and stake the plant well.
Many gardeners fall in love with this tomato, growing it year after year in backyard vegetable gardens all over North America.

Exposure: Full Sun (more than 6 hours of continuous, direct sun per day.)

Maturity: 80 - 90 days
Fruit Weight: 10 - 16oz
Exposure: Full Sun
Shape: Beefsteak
Color: Pinkish-Red
Growth Type: Indeterminate
Sowing: The Mortgage Lifter should be started indoors six to eight weeks before the last spring frost. Sow one-quarter inch deep in flats or pots, keeping the soil mix moist, not soggy. When several leaves have developed, harden off seedlings and transplant eighteen to thirty-six inches apart in the garden. Full sun.
Tip: Tomatoes are best started indoors. This needs to be done 5 to 7 weeks before the last anticipated frost date. The seedlings can then be transplanted into your garden anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks after the last actual frost date. Call your County Extension Office to get frost information for your area.

Open Air Pollinated, NO PESTICIDES USED, grown in my Indiana garden.

** SHIPPED IN PADDED ENVELOPE (i.e. “PARCEL”) WITH CONFIRMATION NUMBER **
