The cold fall wind sent the leaves skittering across the sidewalk. From under the bush a tiny mouse voice said, "Ohhh, Smudge I can't stop shivering. Thanksgiving was only a few days ago, but I'm so hungry that my tummy is rumbling." "I know, Smidge.
