The listing, White Pompass Grass seeds x25 has ended.

Thank you for looking at my auction. I am offering 25 seeds.

Pampas grass blooms in late summer, adding color and texture. Hardy in zones 6 -10, It grows in a clumping habit up to 10 ft tall and wide. It is highly invasive. It takes 2 to 3 years before producing plumes.

Pour an even mixture of peat moss and sand into a 4-inch container. Plant indoors 4 to 6 weeks before last frost.
Place 5 evenly spaced seeds onto soil surface. Lightly press into soil; do not cover. Water until moist to the touch, but not soaking wet. Water with a slow drip so seeds don't wash away. Cover planters with clear, plastic food storage bag. Place open end of bag over planter to allow air circulation and control soil temperature and moisture. Push straws into soil around perimeter of planter to support clear plastic wrap. Place in sunny window with 6 to 8 hours of direct or filtered sunlight daily. Room temperature should be between 65 to 75 deg. F. Water daily to maintain even level of moisture. While consistent moisture aids germination, excessive moisture can cause seeds and seedlings to rot before they get well established. Allow 1 to 2 weeks for germination. Leave plants in place to grow as a single bunch. Transplant outdoors when plants reach 3 to 4 in. Plant in holes twice the diameter of original container, or 8 inches in diameter, and the same height as pots. Space each plant 8 ft. apart to allow it to reach maturity. Water plants regularly to keep soil moist for first growing season. As plants mature, they should only require irrigation once weekly or more often during hot, dry months. Fertilize plants with 10-10-10 fertilizer, 4 times a year. Broadcast evenly around plants; do not put directly against the plant.
