Back in the day ladies and children clipped their gloves or mittens to their purse or to coat sleeves. Here is an unopened package of Staylastic Glove holders made by The Continental Elastic Corporation in New Bedford Mass. Actually made in the USA at a premium price of 25 cents.!

These were great. I'm still looking for a bunch of them. I keep losing my mittens and I have 5 grandchildren. My kids tell me they go thru 20 prs of gloves a winter. The sock monster steals gloves too. Fanned and watching :)
