Pretty watch! What is the story with 2, 3, 4 are they missing or is that just a trick of the light?

They are there, but it seems like part of them are covered by the Case. Maybe it is not the original case? I sell them like I get them! I did think that Caravelle Watches had marked Caravelle Cases, but I may be wrong.

OOOOhhhhh, nice facing. Different then the other. Keep them coming
Question, if I give this as a gift, I'd like to show them 17 jewels....are the backs easy to remove...just curious...not that it really makes a difference, just wondering...

Yes, the backs come off fairly easy, but some watches it's a little harder to take the movement out of the back, you have to like wiggle it back and forth and it will eventually come out

@ Gsusluvsu2 I'd show them the picture. I wouldn't mess with these old watches. That's just my opinion. But I have some experience with these vintage watches. His are great. I'm wearing one now.

I love your watches! You know best about the case. I checked out a Caravelle I had & the case isn't marked.I'm pretty sure it's original. It's an odd shape & I've had it since the 70s but it's older. Using 1 of your tips I got it ticking hope it keeps good time. Had it repaired in the 80s but then it stopped working also in the 80s. Thanks for taking these great pictures that small pint is hard to read.

Glad some of the tips I gave worked, sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I am still not sure of the case though, numbers 2,3 & 4 are almost half covered by the edge of the case.
