The listing, -WTF Collection- 2004 "Shaved Penny" has ended.

Hello Listia! So this coin is part of my WTF Collection. I couldn't think of a better name for it. This particular coin is what I have begun to call a "shaved penny". As you can see from the pics it looks like both sides have been shaved down. The penny is almost completely flat. I like collecting these oddities so I am using this auction as a test. If it gets enough bids then I will list my next coin in this collection. Doesn't come in a flip. Always free shipping.

looks like it may have had something very powerful to press down on it to flatten it, but adjusted to only press down far enough to press the design but not flatten the penny itself. Is it the same diameter of a normal penny? 3/4" approx

Normal diameter. That's why it made it in my collection.
