These are not regular markers, They crest raised and shiny artwork, states for best results use glossy/coated papers. These are my daughter's, she has never used them, When I put a mark to the paper with each marker to check I think is the first time used. But she has had them a long time. They seem to have a lot of color,no dryness or appearance of not being full of the color stated. Cap is tight on each marker.
