If your ad specifies free shipping to Canada, then you are responsible to ship for free to Canada. I do not believe you can override the original posting. Especially if you have already admitted that you made a mistake.
You can maybe try to update the auction and see if that helps, however if the winner wants, they can maybe demand free shipping to Canada. Good Luck.
