For a Large the bust / armpit measurement seems quite small.

Hello, it is a woman's large and it ties in the back that's why it looks smaller. The bust seems like it's like a "C" cup. I never wore it i got it from a friend of mine so I'm not sure if it's true to its size. I know that some sizes run smaller just depends on the brand. The measurements that I included are correct. I'm sorry I forgot to tell you that there is a little bit of Stretch at the armpit area but in the back (there is some elastic so that may help you too
