No paperwork. You have to use the button on the extender and your router.

I thought about buying one of these at one time before I ran a diffent method I knew would work and was unsure of the outcome with these. I wouldnt Mind adding even more range to my home though, def watching and bidding!!

There are certain variables you have to understand when trying to extend your wifi.
For instance you cant take this into a dead zone and expect more wifi, u have to use a wifi analyzer to see how far your router is putting off around the home and where it starts to get weak, then u find a spot far away with decent wifi still and plug it in, then it will from that spot extend more wifi out further.
