The listing, Old wind up childs music box has ended.

this is an old music box i got from an estate sale. I payed 30 dollars for it, its pretty cool but its really not what i collect so im going to see if anyone might like it. It looks like the california raisins but its much older than that. It is OK shape the box has a slight rip on the side but other than that it works. this is what it says on the side maybe you can look it up somewhere CARTOON CHARACTER"SUNNY SWEET" created by ALL-SCOPE PICTURES INC. HOLLYWOOD CALIFORNIA i think it may be the early version of the CALIFORNIA RAISINS?

The Sunny Sweet characters were prunes, or "dried plums" and the cartoon/commercial came out about 1951. The music box must be a fairly rare find because I can''t locate any info on it. =) Great auction! I'm watching this closely!

It sounds like a jack in the box kind of and the words to the song are on the side:six or seven prunes a day are good for you in every way. now that is true as you will see no matter what your age may be!!
