The listing, Primula japonica Mix, Mixed Candelabra Primroses has ended.

You are bidding on a very generous packet of candelabra primroses. This is a mix of colors from white through to deepest red and all shades of pink in between.
These seeds need a cold stratification for good germination. sow them as soon as you get them in a large pot or flat and place outside for the winter, the seeds will sprout like crazy in the spring!
Transplant them to pots or into your garden in a partly shady, moist area with good compost worked into your soil. they will selfsow if they're happy!

I have a 'secret garden' that needs something like this. :) I now know why I haven't been able to start them up until now. I've always planted them in the Spring.

Yes, these def. need a cold period/winter before they will sprout. But once they do they will come up like lettuce!!!

I do. The garden that we call our secret garden is fun because it's small and very easy to maintain. This year I want to plant moss around some stepping stones. I've never tried to grow my own moss but I understand it's quite easy to do. We'll see. :)
