These are Tiger Lilies -commonly known

as roadside lilies- very hearty (hard to kill- great for any new gardener )
I have thrown these upside down in our woods and they still grow wonderfully. Splash of Summer color.
Do not plant right next to other Day lilies as they will cross pollinate. You can cut down in the Fall.
