i went to lowes to get a pack of black eye susan but they sold me sunflower seeds and the sprouts died right away!

Huh, they died? I don't know so much about Loew's, but home depot has a guarantee for plants. I can help you out with both of your needs! I have blackeyed susan and 2 kinds of sunflowers listed now. Good Luck!

If you have your receipt & dead plant, they are supposed to give you a refund if it dies a year from when you bought it. I like these flowers-nice & bright.
