The listing, Apple Gourd Seeds 20 Use Dried for Crafts has ended.

Very much fun to grow 20+ Apple Gourd Seeds. Turn hard and brown when dried and are shaped just like an apple about 6-8in in diameter...fun to paint or leave plain for fall decorations...Seeds harvested for 2012 from my own garden. I never use chemical fertilizers or pesticides on my plants!

Oh yes! Probably better than here in NC...they love warm weather and thrive in heat with little water, very easy to care for :)

How about bird houses. do you think they would be good for that?

Not for large birds but would be great for blue birds or wrens....the gourds are 6-8 inchs in diameter and about 6-8 inches in height....

I love apple gourds..not for eating, ick! These are the easiest to dry of the gourd family and make excellant birdhouse's:) Great auction! good luck.
