I can't wear anything but solid gold so I know how that feels. I have 1 filled ring I wear just occasionally because I know I'll get green and itchy too if I wear it daily. It's not necessarily the jewelry always unfortunately.

I wouldn't buy filled jewelry for engagement...Just a suggestion. Marriage is forever, the ring you get should be able to withstand years...Filled jewelry usually lasts only a couple years at best.
