Some sort of tape, this is how I got the fabric at an auction ... it was in a lot.

How wide is the fabric? Is it home decor, or dress weight? What is the fabric content?

As far as what type of fabric, I'm not sure how to answer that ... the content I mean. I can tell you this however, I do believe it is cotton, however very heavy, thick cotton. I'm getting ready now to upload two more pictures as I went ahead and opened the fabric up for the first time .... I had no idea, but this fabric is in two sections .... it measures 54'' across and the first section measures 87'' long and the second 86'' long. Hope this helps you!

I'm pretty sure this would then be considered drapery weight / home decor fabric.

Re shipping...probably won't fit into a Large Flat Rate envelope for $5.00 but do you know if it will it fit into a Med. Flat Rate box for around $10.50?

I have no cats, however I do smoke .... I don't make a habit of smoking anywhere near my work station though. As for whoever had the fabric before me, I have no idea.
