Description

The listing, 5 BLUE GIRL ROSE SEEDS, EASY GROWING INSTRUCTIONS has ended.

Though many plants declare to grow blue flowers, few really do. But one such true blue bloom is the Blue Girl rose. The Blue Girl is a hybrid tea rose. It is actually a silver, lilac-lavender color, yet it does turn gray-blue in color.
Growing roses from seeds can be easier than you think ! patience is required, but worth it !stratify your rose seeds to encourage them to grow better. to stratify your seeds, place them on a paper towel that has been soaked in a solution that contains half water and half peroxide to prevent mold from occurring. fold the towel to keep the seeds inside and then put them all into a resealable bag. place the bag inside a refrigerator . keep the seeds in the refrigerator for six to 10 weeks. another method to stratify is to place the seeds in a tray of potting soil, cover the tray and then place it in the fridge for a few weeks.
Plant your seeds in pots or flats.. Push the seeds down into the soil about 1 inch. place them outside in direct sunlight once the threat of frost is gone and water the soil when it looks dry. the seeds will likely begin to sprout in about six weeks.
transplant the seedlings into separate containers once they have grown a few inches tall. be careful not to touch the plant's roots during this process. the use of a spoon may be helpful. BEFORE YOU FLAG, PLEASE RESEARCH. YOU CAN BUY THE BUSHES FROM GURNEYS,NATURE HILLS AND MICHIGAN BULB. THERE ARE MANY NURSERYS THAT HAVE THIS ROSE. I only had one bush and wanted a few more but had to buy more seeds than I will use.
i would mulch the first year. i just use leaves. Fertilize once a month and water every three days or so. Prune in February. Your bushes will be fuller when they bloom in again. Thanks for your intrest in my auction and email me with any questions. I mail the next day after win.

Gurneys nursery has the bushes plus other nursereys. the seeds come in the fall to early winter from seed pods from your rose bushes. i get my seeds from them. don't know where to buy the blue girl seeds, but specialty sites may have them.

Thank you=) I have never seen a real blue rose. I have seen the white rose that has been fed blue food-coloring in its' vase-water, but never an actual picture of a real one.. thank you for that, seeing it just made the impossible seem so much more tangible and real. It's nice to be reminded that anything is possible. ^u^
