comes with USB and cat5 cables no cd but can look for it.

works well when I used yo download from news groups. got around 128Mbps speed

Well, newsgroups are not really considered to be a p2p network and therefore are not relevant for comparison of p2p performance. However, I still have great interest in this modem and I'm glad you have it up for auction! Also, the CD is not a must have for me since I most likely will not use the USB port anyways, but if you do find it and include it with the item then that's great!

Does the modem have a password that needs to be reset or anything? I bought a used router in the past from a thrift store which had the password set on the configuration page. No way to contact the owner to find out the password because it was donated anonymously.

no passwords, just need to call you local cable provider and have it registered. The router is different and there should be a reset buttton on the back and you will need to hold it down for 5 seconds. hope that helps

any router can be reset to factory default by using the pinhole reset button
