The listing, Eagle of Pengwern KNITTING PATTERN has ended.
This is the second knitting pattern I ever wrote and the first one with shoulder shaping! This shawl has a centre panel and a wee bit of faroese style shaping. It has a cute little bottom border as well. It is not "hard" to knit, but it does need concentration while doing the shaping. (the rest is done in a snap, believe me!)
Requirements:
Yarn: Knit Picks Shadow. (100% Merino Wool, 50 gr./440 yards per hank) 2 hanks. Laceweight. (24wpi, 2 ply, if someone would like to use handspun
yarn)
Needles: Addi Turbo, size 4.0 mm 80 cm long (US 6, 32”) , one could use a loner
circular needle, but that was the only one I had in that size and I did not want to
drive 38 miles to buy a new one!
Notions: 8 Stitch markers, sewing needle.
Gaue: 20 stitches/20 rows in Stockinet stitch = 3” wide and 2 1?4 “high
Finished measurements after blocking: 70“across top ( 33” for each “wing” and 4
“ center lace panel), 29” top to bottom measured down center lace panel
70” across top edge from tip to tip(33” across top edge for each “wing” and the center lace panel is 4 “ wide), 29” down center lace panel, top to bottom.
do make these shawls on custom order if you like one, but don't knit yourself. :) Just message me for details!
Please send me your email address when the auction is over, so I can send you the PDF file!
Since this is an electronic file and no shipping is required, I can make this an international auction!
The pattern is written in ENGLISH! please keep that in mind if you are not an English speaker!
This is my original design, please do not re-share this pattern! If you want to knit it for profit, please ask me first! I have no problem with it being knitted for charitable purposes, but would appreciate you asking me first!
Happy bidding and happy knitting! :)
