The listing, PENCIL STICK CACTUS CLIPPINGS has ended.
The pencil cactus plant is in the Euphorbia family of succulents. Another common name for the plant is Milkbush due to the cloudy sap it releases when injured. Be cautious when caring for a pencil cactus; the sap is toxic and may cause problems in some people. The pencil cactus needs high levels of light and moderately low moisture. It is an excellent houseplant and provides an interesting silhouette.
***PLEASE REMEMBER*** pencil stick cactus sap is toxic when our in mouth or eyes! !!!!!!!!!!!!
The plant you see in the picture is my plant. Beautiful isn't it?
When in full hot sun it will become red as mine is right now. In not so much sun and heat the plant will be mostly green
You will receive 3 cuttings about the size I am showing in the second picture.
I will cut pieces when purchased. When you cut a toxic white substance comes out of the cut end (a little bit) the clippings then need to stay out of soil and water until the cut end calluses up. (Approximately 5-10 days) Then you stick the calloused end in soil. Water and enjoy watching it grow
