Description
The listing, Neon Genesis Evangelion Rei Metal Figure has ended.
For sale here is a metal figure of Rei from "Neon Genesis Evangelion". It was made by Sega and is brand new. The packaging is in fairly good shape with some sticker residue on the side. The figure is in good shape except the top coating of the wood base is flaking off (please see the picture for a close-up).
I'm sorry for the terrible pictures; this wasn't an easy one to photograph. ^^;
Questions & Comments
that could probly be sanded down and re-polyurithaned and stained if it calls for? its solid wood and dosent have any veneer right? it appears to be, seems like an eaisy repair job and it could be refurbished. (^----^o) i would have fun doing that lol.
solid wood is perfect. :) oh and im working on trying to restore those two cells still. ive tryed a few different chemicles and things, it really is burned on there! im thinking the only way i can remove it is not with chemicles but different light treatments and exposeing it to different kinds of light for periods of time... but i dont want to mess up the paints color so im doing some research online and tests first, (^-----^o) ill let you know if any of that works. lol
i helped rebuild my own house after it flooded i live next to the sesquahannah river, (^----^) i took a technology class in middle school and learned about beams, braces, floor joists, collar studs and stuff like that ha ha. it came in handy i made a scale model and then i ended up makeing the real thing 3 times. i even won a medal for haveing the highest grades at the end of the year. im normally a "C" avrage girl. im completely retarded in math though i can only do addition subtraction n then the rest usully needs a calculator XD... but im just naturally good at fixing and makeing stuff i also made alot of the furniture and paintings and drawings in my room. my sister is a photographer she has a buisness and a bunch of stuff and is the creator of "Calming the Fever" photography.
oh and you know what takes off sticker residue? lighter fluid (^----^o) lol i know that cos when you buy a zippo lighter you can use the fluid to get the sticker gunk off it
