Description

The listing, Kombucha Starter Scoby - Culture has ended.

They may be "Ugly as Sin!", but all of our KT scobies are well cared for and exceptionally healthy.

Although there is not really any studies to validate claims made about all the amazing attributes of drinking KT, there is reason to believe that consuming fermented foods is a valuable asset to your health.

It is believed that the improper digestion of foods, and the malnutrition that can occur as a result is the cause of all chronic disease. Fermented foods are chock full of benefecial enzymes and friendly bacteria, which can greatly aid in the digestion of food matter.

Drinking KT daily will introduce your digestive tract to a multitude of beneficial enzymes and bacteria.

One starter Scoby along with a little KT from a previous batch (included) is all you need to get you on your way, and contrary to what you may have heard KT does not have to taste like vinegar.

With a little trial and error you can be on your way to creating your own great tasting KT blends! KT Recipes can be found along with brewing instructions at: www.kombuchateasynergy.com/

PLEASE NOTE: We have recently been overwhelmed with requests for our SCOBY's to the point that the orders are coming in faster than we can grow them. While we will continue to do our best to ship these as fast as we can, please expect a wait time of 10 days for shipment.

Hmmm, well if you have never had true kombucha before I suppose the best way to describe it is that it is sort of vinegar like. There are many people who flavor their kombucha, and there are some do's and don'ts for this so that you do not kill your scoby. Yahoo has a wonderful supportive/information message board, which you may enjoy. You can find it by following this link... http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/original_kombucha/?yguid=438198090

I can't find brewing instructions on the site you mentioned. Am I just missing it or is it incorrect?
