Description

The listing, Timothy grass seed 3 oz pure seed has ended.

(I will have camera later so I can take pics)

.•*Great for nice thick lush lawn!
.•*Great for growing grass to feed pets!

?Each ounce of seed covers=340 square feet of pure timothy hay. When you plant in mix, you only need ¼ or ½ as much.

?Promesse Timothy has high seedling aggressiveness and persistence once established. Resists rust, leaf spot, winter hardy.

?Fast regrowth, maintains high quality when cut prior to bloom

?Doesn’t do well in low rainfall. Water during drought.

?Very productive/palatable
Mixes well with:
-Alfalfa
-orchard grass
-legumes
-other grasses

?Germination: 91%
?Pure Seed: 99.88%
?Other crop: .02%
?Weeds: .01%
?Inert: .09%
?Date of test: 1/11

Plant during early fall or spring in a moist firmly packed seedbed 1/8 to 1/4 inch deep.

?A fine, firm seedbed is the key to successful timothy establishment with a zone of 5 to 8 cm free of large lumps and air pockets. When a seedbed is properly packed, tractor tire marks will be barely visible.

?Firm seedbed allows for a shallow, uniform seeding depth
-Ensures the seed has close contact with soil moisture, resulting in rapid germination and early seedling root growth.

?Seedbed preparation in the last fall or very early in the spring promotes germination of some weed seeds
-reduces soil moisture losses from excessive cultivation.

?Timothy and companion crop can be seeded 1-2 weeks after last spring cultivation and sprayed with a glyphosate product before seedling emergence. Direct seeding into crop stubble also works well.

Thanks! I wish I had pics though. I'll walk you through on how to grow them if you want. And be careful when growing them outside, they may have parasites that may hop onto them.

Use 1 part vinegar or lemon juice with 3 parts water... and scrub with a brush... then rinse... drip dry, wipe clean with paper towel and put in the sun to dry further

Or grow in a pot indoors with loamy soil with good drainage to avoid parasites from outside :3
