The listing, 1700's Silver 1 Spanish Reale has ended.
Up for sale is an Authentic 1700's Spanish Cob 1 Reale Coin.
I got some of these in a police auction some time ago, and thought that I would see how they would do on here.
So what is a Cob. Basically it is a Spanish colonial of a specific weight. This for instance is 2.9 grams, and that is the weight of a 1 Reale.
Cobs were made out of a certain weight of silver that was then struck into a coin. That is the reason of the various shapes, and why no two cobs are alike.
Judging from the design of the crest that is where I am getting the date from. I will say I am not an expert, so feel free to comment.
I will have several of these listed, so check them out since I can combine shipping.
