The listing, Lion Brand Glitter Magic has ended.

I have to much yarn with no place to put it all so I'm listing lots of yarn for a few auctions for my Listia family to have a chance to win for there own stash.

This is for Lion Brand Glitter Magic Yarn. On the Label it has three different patters to choose one of to crochet. Originally there was 8.75 oz but as you can see in picture 4 it's on a scale and it shows 7.5 oz, the yardage was 907 now I'm not sure of. It's been in plastic bag ever since I tried winding it from original skein that was falling apart into center pull cake which there is to much yardage to do so. So part is caked and since I didn't want to break it up I just carefully wound the rest around that cake.

My home is SMOKE FREE with one silly cat who has no access to my craft supplies.

Does the metallic strands make it "scratchy"?

I apoligize for not answering back sooner I just celebrated my 40th B-day yesterday and it's been kinda crazy, but anyways the actual scratchiness isn't to bad that I can tell from just finding a small ball that will be included when it's shipped, but it possibly could feel scratchier to someone with more sensitive skin but my opinion it not incredibly scratchy or the manufacturer probably wouldn't of used it for the patterns that are included on the label or at least I wouldn't think they would. I hope I was able to help.

Yes that does help. It would work for an adult item, but not for the newborn hats for the hospital.

I have used this yarn before and when it is made into hats, scarves, etc., it doesn't feel scratchy at all to me. I really have to rub it hard to feel the difference of the added metallic strand. This is not a "cheap" yarn. I have found it always works up very nicely too.
