yes, that will work as well (forgot about that way!!) you can either print out the $10.95 postage sticker and send it (if you do that) or forever stamps (or larger value stamps) worth 10.95.!! thanks for mentioning that option!!

well, with this one, since winner pays shipping, the winner pays the fees with paypal (listia's preferred method), with a postal money order, or concealed cash (every seller is different--some don't take paypal, some want cash only, etc...)
myself, i take all the methods mentioned above (paypal, postal MO, and cash)! usually i don't do tracking, esp. on smaller items, but on this i will. if you have any more questions, just ask!!

i can stuff what will fit in the box (i do stuff it well, with the box bulging). this is the 4th auction like this i've done, and in general, 7-9 skeins fit in the box. some of the balls are larger than a med. flat rate box tho, so i will probably have to re-roll some of the larger ones, either into smaller balls, or into more of a skein-shaped "ball".
There's no way all this will fit into a medium size flat rate box tho, that's why the winner gets to choose what they want, and i'll work with them on their choices until the box is stuffed!
i've hd very happy customers for the 1st three auctions of this type, so don't worry!!

i can't afford shipping right now. as is, this auction is offering 11 full skeins (pic. 1, 6 skeins, pic 3 - 2 skeins, pic 6, 2 skeins and pic 8, 1 skein) i can fit 9 full skeins in a medium flat rate box (granted, my full skeins vary in weights--the cheaper red heart skeins are 8 oz. and the higher-end Paton's and Hershner's are only 3.5 oz, but that's not my fault, that's the companies. i can fit all the full skeins in a large flat rate box (including the top 2 skeins from pic 2 that are actually full skeins, i just don't have the wrappers for them anymore, so i listed them as partials) that would be 13 fulls in a lg rate box. Of course, all the balls weigh as much as the full skeins almost (included with the balls is the off white from pic 1, and the bottom 4 skeins in pic 2) which i could also fit in a lg. flat rate box and just barely get it taped closed.
even if it was all in one box (all of it weighs about 8 1/2 lbs.) prices would vary from $12.55-$14.47 (for parcel) and $20.55-$24.90 for priority, all prices depending on where you live.
But, what it all boils down to basically, is that i can't pay for shipping right now. just feel lucky about the auction you did win and only paid $3.00 shipping for. Apparently she has more $$ available to her than i do right now. it's unfortunate for her that she only got 1075 credits for her low-cost-shipping auction. this is the 4th pick and choose yarn auction i've had, and i got 2520, 2651, and 2520 credits for my auction where the winner paid $10.95 for shipping and were all extremely happy with their purchases!
i do realize that as the selection of yarn choices decreases, the credits will too, THEN i might offer free shipping as an incentive to bid more!
ty for your input!

When you send in a flat rate box, it doesn't matter what it weighs, it goes for a certain price, It doesn't matter where yopu send it it, it's the same price $10.95. Does the winner get to pick the yarn she wants or doesn't want?? Thanks

oh yeah, i know about the flat rate prices (i will admit tho, until i started with Listia i hadn't been in a PO for years!) but i think i've pretty much got the idea of shipping, etc...
anyway, YES, the winner gets to choose whatever yarn they want (i can fit around 9 full skeins in a medium flat rate box), as for the balls, they might have to be re-rolled to fit the max amount in the box. i'll work with the winner and go back and forth with their choices until the box is full! ty for bidding!

i do have more than 1 of them, but it's not really purple, it's more maroonish to lt maroon to pink to white (like that description?!?!? lol), hope that's ok!! sorry the other 2 auctions from last night were too late for you. i wound up getting 505 for the skulls and 896 for the bats, so, not too bad!
