The listing, 1950s National Tuberculosis Association TB later American Lung Assoc Donor contributor lapel pin tab has ended.
Offered is an original 1 3/8" by 1/2" metal lithographed lapel donor or contributor pin tab. It was referred to as the DOUBLE E-BARRED CROSS, the symbol of the National Tuberculosis Association.
These were distributed by the National Tuberculosis Association and later the American Lung Association in schools in the late 1950s and elsewhere when children and adults donated or contributed to the American Lung Association. TB or tuberculosis was part of the focus of the American Lung Association at that time.
I am offering this duplicate from my collection.
